For partners

MU is open to collaboration in the creation of Joint Degree programmes. We have already created several programmes (joint, double, and multiple degree programmes) with partner universities. We welcome all interest in cooperating with us, and we support our departments in the creation of new Joint Degree programmes. Below, you can find some useful information.

MU has some requirements on study programmes in relation to the Czech law (see Drafts of Agreement in Documents section), some key points are here:

  • Usually BA lasts 3 years – 180 ECTS, MA lasts 2 years – 120 ECTS, long MA (law, medicine, some pedagogical studies) lasts 5 years – 300 ECTS.
  • Tuition depends on the Cooperation Agreement (or if it is Erasmus Mundus programme).
  • Mobility has to be at least  semester for 20 ECTS (usually) long.
  • The State Exam content depends on the level of study – it differs for BA and MA degrees. Please consult your partner at MU.
  • At least one representative from each partner university has to be present during the State Examination.

In the Document section, you can find Drafts of Cooperation Agreements (for Joint and Double/Multiple Degrees). We do not insist on using them, but they can give you an overview of what MU requires in the Agreement.
